Intaglio work

Studio note — I’m working on a small copper plate for an intaglio print. This piece is becoming a mezzotint; I love the slow, meditative process and the deep, velvety blacks it creates.

I don't know why intaglio work is so fun.... I truly enjoy each progress of mezzotint.
