A Short Reel from LEIMIA HOTTA FINE ARTS

I am pleased to share a short studio reel presenting a selection of my recent paintings.

The works shown here are part of my ongoing painting practice, which explores quiet intensity, inner narratives, and moments of stillness within contemporary life. Rather than illustrating events or seasons directly, these paintings emerge from a sustained engagement with memory, gesture, and the emotional resonance that surfaces in subtle, often unspoken moments.

This short reel was created during the winter season, a time that naturally invites reflection and attentiveness. The atmosphere of this period — slower rhythms, softened light, and inward focus — aligns closely with the concerns that continue to inform my work.
